As Chief Operating Officer at Aalberts, he believes exceptional performance emerges when teams are connected by a shared language, a common purpose, and mutual trust.

Case Study Highlights

In 2024, Luca Labriola joined Aalberts and began the operations transformation supporting the company’s Thrive 2030 strategy, aimed at unleashing its full potential by combining speed, local accountability, global scale, and functional excellence.

When he joined, he found a company of strong, close-to-market businesses, but also a decentralized organization with limited end-to-end visibility.

Rather than centralizing, Luca chose to connect, building a common language across Aalberts’ production system, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), and procurement excellence.

Two years in, the approach has delivered early wins in cash control, inventory reduction, footprint optimization, and productivity, but Luca is proudest of how it has connected people across a shared language, giving them the confidence to see and act on the end-to-end value chain as Aalberts accelerates its journey into digitalization, AI, and the factory of the future.
