David Lynch was first exposed to supply chain operations at an early age with the involvement of his father, uncle and grandfather in the footwear industry. As he grew up, his exposure to their work in sourcing, logistics and distribution impressed upon him a fundamental appreciation for supply chain. This later inspired him to pursue the footwear industry which spurred a deep interest in the end-to-end supply chain process.
His journey brought him to the opportunity to work for best-in-class brands across the industry including Nike, Clarks, and others. David now leads the Group Supply Chain function for Bata Brands. His hobbies include the outdoors, travel, and reading. But his true joy is spending time with his twin 8-year-old sons.
