Michael Corbo

Mike Corbo was Chief Supply Chain Officer between 2011-2023 at Colgate-Palmolive, the culmination of a lifelong Colgate career building our best-in-class capabilities across the globe.

He was leading End-to-End Supply Chain Activities, focusing on Customer Collaboration, Cost Optimization, Talent Development, and the Digital Supply Chain.

Previously he served from 2005 to 2011 as Vice President, Global Oral Care Supply Chain. Mike joined Colgate after graduating from Lafayette College in 1982 and worked in myriad roles across the U.S. In 1995, Mike moved to the Philippines as Director of Manufacturing Operations before becoming General Manager, Portfolio Simplification, Asia Pacific, in Malaysia.

Mike has transformed Colgate-Palmolive Supply Chain into an externally recognized global leader in productivity, resilience, and sustainability.

Currently, Mike is a Board Member of several companies, including WK Kellogg Co., Vetnique®, and is Executive Chairman to Goodier, a Skin care CDMO. , Mike is also an investor and Advisor to Carbmee, Craft.co, Regrello and Harry’s.

Mourad Tamoud

As the Winner of the 2023 and 2024 editions of the Leaders in Supply Chain Awards, Mourad joins the awards in 2025 as a jury member.

Mourad Tamoud joined Schneider Electric in 1997 as Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. In 2012 he became Senior VP of Global Supply Chain China, a post in which he had oversight of manufacturing and distribution operations for the region and was responsible for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, procurement, and supply chain.

Mourad was first appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations for Schneider Electric in June 2016. As of January 2019, Mourad added Procurement to his responsibilities and served as Chief Supply Chain Officer overseeing the end-to-end supply chain: including Procurement, Industrial Operations, Logistics & Network Design, Planning, as well as driving the strategic agenda for the entire Supply Chain organization. He is also a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee.

Passionate about customers, he believes fostering a customer-centric culture across the supply chain organization is critical to supporting business growth and gaining competitive advantage.

Kai Hoberg

Kai Hoberg is a Professor of Supply Chain and Operations Strategy at the Kühne Logistics University in Hamburg. His research focuses on supply chain analytics, the role of technology in supply chains, and supply chain strategy. His research findings have been published in academic journals like the Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and the Journal of Supply Chain Management. Kai was a visiting researcher at international universities such as the National University of Singapore, Cornell University, the Israel Institute of Technology, and the University of Oxford.  

Prior to his return to academia, he was a project manager in the operations team at Booz & Company. For the past 10 years, he has supported the McKinsey Supply Chain practice in teaching and research.  His team at KLU is working closely with industry partners such as Bayer, Procter & Gamble, Jungheinrich, and Infineon.

Cheryl Capps

Cheryl Capps is a Global Operations leader who fell in love with manufacturing during a summer job as a teenager. There, she designed, programmed, and trained an hourly workforce to use equipment that tested first-generation electronic displays for Bally pinball machines. Forty years later, she continues to enable innovation, growth, and bottom-line financial success through Supply Chain Transformation and Operating Excellence. As a side hobby, Cheryl loves Formula 1 Racing and is an avid McLaren fan.

As Former Corning’s Chief Supply Chain Officer, Cheryl was part of the Senior Leadership Team and was a management representative at general board meetings and for the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committee. She transformed the function, delivering more than $1.3B in year-over-year savings. She also led multiple business initiatives, including capital excellence (realizing $800M+ in capital efficiency) and an AI/ML-enabled global risk detection and mitigation system, which was recognized by NAM as the ‘best of the best’. Cheryl was an early adopter of digitalization in supply chain sustainability/social responsibility- under Cheryl’s leadership, Corning has been consistently ranked in the top tier globally.

Currently, Cheryl is a Board Director at Integer Holdings (NYSE: ITGR), and Advisor at World 50 Group, Elementum, ketteQ, Bristlecone and o9 Solutions, Inc.

Knut Alicke

Knut Alicke, Partner at McKinsey & Company, part of the global Supply Chain leadership team and a visiting professor of supply chain at the University of Cologne. Knut is one of the global experts on the topics of operations, supply chain, and risk and was ranked in the Top 3 Supply Chain Influencers by a supply chain magazine.

He advises clients on a variety of topics related to Supply Chains, including digital supply chains, risk and resilience, advanced analytics, and supply chain transformations.

Knut has written several articles on subjects related to supply chains and is the author of a highly regarded book on supply chain management, “Planning and Operation of Logistics Networks: cross-company supply chain management (in German)” and is the co-author of “From Source to Sold -Stories of Leadership in Supply Chain”.

Bart Derde

Bart Derde is currently the CEO and Founder of KCD Ventures, where he focuses on investing in and supporting small businesses, particularly in the healthcare and supply chain sectors. 

In addition at his role at KCD Ventures, Bart is a Strategic Advisor with Bain & Company, and works extensively with Private equity and corporate. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director for GMP Manufacturing Ltd.

His previous experience includes almost 35 years as a multilingual global executive in Consumer Goods and Consumer Healthcare, with roles at Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, GSK, and Haleon. He led the Supply Chain of GSK Consumer Health through the pandemic and its separation from GSK. Bart also led the integration of the supply chains of the Consumer Health portfolios of GSK, Novartis, and Pfizer, which enabled the creation of Haleon plc.

Bart is also involved with the London Business School as an Associate Programme Director.

Sami Pascal Naffakh

Sami Naffakh is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in the FMCG sector. He is currently a Member of the Board at Bolt Projects Holdings and serves as an Advisor to various Private Equity funds.

Throughout his career, Sami has held senior leadership roles at Unilever, Danone, Estée Lauder, and Arla Foods, bringing strategic vision and operational excellence to global organizations.

Most recently, he was Chief Supply Officer and Member of the Group Executive Committee at Reckitt, where he spearheaded a large-scale transformation of the global supply chain, whilst navigating unprecedented disruptions.

Prior to that, as Chief Operations Officer and Member of the Group Executive Committee at Arla Foods, one of the world’s largest dairy cooperatives, he led major efficiency improvements and reshaped the company’s industrial and logistics network.

With deep expertise in consumer trends and supply chain dynamics, Sami is committed to building agile, competitive operations that anticipate market shifts and foster engagement across all levels of an organization.

Daniel Stanton

Daniel Stanton, known as “Mr. Supply Chain,” is the author of “Supply Chain Management For Dummies,” one of the world’s top-selling supply chain books. His work has garnered widespread recognition, featuring on CNBC, Fox News, and Forbes.

With a background in both military and civilian supply chains, Stanton now channels his expertise into teaching, research, and advising startups. His contributions have resonated on a large scale, with nearly 3 million learners worldwide engaging with his courses on LinkedIn Learning.

He holds a master’s degree from MIT, lectures at the University of Arkansas, and is a doctoral researcher at Cranfield University. As a certified supply chain and project management professional, Daniel is a driving force in shaping the supply chain conversation globally.

Deborah Dull

Deborah Dull is the founder of the Circular Supply Chain Network and Managing Partner of Trillium Digital Services. She authored “Circular Supply Chains: 17 Common Questions” and “Sustainable Supply Chains: Unlearning for a Better Tomorrow,” with a third book on circular supply chains forthcoming in June. With experience at Zero100, GE Digital, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Genpact, and Microsoft, Deborah specializes in AI-driven supply chain innovation, self-driving supply chains, advanced analytics, and responsible business practices. She is a sought-after speaker and has been published in numerous industry publications. Deborah holds a BA in Supply Chain & Operations Management from Western Washington University and an MSc from the University of Liverpool, where her thesis focused on digital supply chain. She is currently pursuing her DBA from Heriot-Watt University.

Albert Sofian is a talented graphic artist, passionate about old Rembrandt techniques, who creates art objects with materials such as tar or calamine, sometimes combined with color. Through large compositions, often minimalist and with surprising recursions, Albert brings the figurative with a mannerist touch into the contemporary which challenges the viewer to dream. He graduated from History and Patrimony Sibiu University, and his work is constantly exposed in renowned exhibitions.
