Case Study Highlights

Andy Turner has led the “Fit for Winning” transformation at Mars and Royal Canin, evolving supply from a cost center into a strategic growth enabler. A key achievement was scaling this effort from a pilot market to an enterprise-wide program, backed by executive sponsorship and aligned to Mars’s global growth ambitions.

Speed to market has increased by embedding segmentation from formulation through delivery. This shift from a one-size-fits-all approach enables better prioritization and efficiency. Tailored supply pathways are now aligned to customer and product needs, resulting in growth and reduced complexity.

Andy built a demand-led strategy that redefines supply as a value creation engine. While digital tools are not the focus, segmentation and strategy alignment provide a foundation for agility and data-driven operations. His leadership fosters mindset shifts and drives collaboration across business units.

He sees success as a team achievement. With shared ownership and a customer-led focus, his team shapes growth pathways and builds momentum in a fast-changing world. Supply fitness has become a competitive advantage and a catalyst for innovation.
